The FX series, which premiered on Disney+ and Hulu in August, has been one of the most ambitious entries yet in the long-running Alien franchise. With its mix of Xenomorph horror and original storylines set in the year 2120, fans are already wondering if a second season is on the way.

A description for the Season 1 finale cryptically teases that “a new power dynamic emerges.”

The show has not been officially renewed for a second season, but series creator Noah Hawley has recently addressed the show’s future.
