Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the Bel Air home of Gordon Ramsay Monday night after reports that he had been shot.
According to the LAPD, they received a call at around 8 p.m. from a person saying he had shot Ramsay.

Once they arrived, the LAPD said a staff member told them that Ramsay was fine and that the celebrity chef was not even in the country at the time.
Officers reported the prank incident as a "swatting" call .
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests were made.
