United States President Donald Trump called out Sharia law being adopted in Europe and slammed the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, at the United Nations. Addressing the United Nations General Assembly's 80th session, Trump accused Sadiq Khan of seeking to impose Sharia law in the city. “I look at London, where you have a terrible mayor, terrible terrible mayor, and it’s been so changed, so changed. Now they want to go to Sharia law, but you’re in a different country,” Trump claimed, pushing a familiar unsubstantiated allegation trumpeted by his allies.
