Plymouth Argyle are playing the second of their three Southern Section Group B games in the Vertu Trophy tonight, with Tottenham Hotspur under-21s their opponents at Home Park.

The Pilgrims began the competition with a 2-0 home win against Cheltenham Town three weeks ago, when striker Lorent Tolaj got both of their goals.

Spurs' under-21s side played Bristol Rovers in their first Vertu Trophy fixture and raced into a 3-0 lead inside 16 minutes, with 17-year-old Tynan Thompson scoring twice.

However, Rovers battled back to draw 4-4 after 90 minutes and they picked up a bonus point by winning the subsequent penalty shoot-out 5-4.
