Agartala, 23 rd September 2025: In a bid to assess the effective delivery of central and state government welfare schemes, Former Chief Minister and Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb visited the homes of two tribal beneficiaries at Jirania today. The visit focused on evaluating the impact of the PM-KUSUM scheme, which aims to promote solar-powered irrigation solutions for farmers.

During his interaction with beneficiaries at Bishram Bari and West Barjala in Jirania, Deb learned that under the PM-KUSUM initiative, farmers have installed two solar-powered 2-horsepower pumps for irrigation.
