Shillong, Sept 23: Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar has dismissed allegations of nepotism in the recent cabinet reshuffle.

Dhar’s response comes after criticism regarding the induction of his brother-in-law and Jowai legislator Wailadmiki Shylla into the cabinet.
Regarding the relocation of hawkers in Shillong, Dhar informed that the process is ongoing, with pending relocations at Laitumkhrah, GS Road, and near the Civil Hospital.
The deputy chief minister assured that efforts are being made to address the issue.
On the relocation of the Harijan Colony from the Iew Mawlong area, Dhar said discussions are still underway and no final decision has been made yet.
