CHICAGO — The city will get hit with gray skies and rain for most of the week — but the weekend is looking clear and sunny.

Tuesday’s showers are expected to start in the afternoon, and it will be partly cloudy throughout Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday, Wednesday morning and Thursday all have a 40 percent chance of showers.

Temperatures will decrease slightly to a high of 69 degrees on Wednesday — but they will pick back up by Friday, which has an expected high of 77 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Saturday and Sunday both have expected highs in the 70s.
