MILWAUKEE, WI — In a dreadful act of willful disobedience, sinful rebellious homeschooler Jaxsyn Clement stayed up past 9:30 p.m. to read The Chronicles of Narnia.

Sources say that the whole heavenly host looked on in sorrow as Clement knowingly and depravedly flouted his parents' bedtime rules, heinously ignoring his conscience as he blazed through The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe with a flashlight under the covers.

"It was patently obvious that he was disobeying our curfew to stay up late reading C.S. Lewis," said Jean Clement, Jaxsyn's father. "It's such a difficult thing for a parent to see their child willfully going astray. We pray that the Holy Spirit will speedily and effectively convict him of his sin of staying up well past his allotted bedtime for unapproved reading."
