Here comes the bride… That's right, she's alive! Warner Bros. Pictures has released an electrifying first trailer for Maggie Gyllenhaal's R-rated monster movie The Bride! The frightful feature stars Christian Bale as Frankenstein's monster and Jessie Buckley as his undead newlywed in a "very punk" reimagining of one of the horror genre's most compelling stories. The latest cinematic take draws inspiration from James Whale's iconic 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein, which itself is adapted from Mary Shelley's 1818 gothic novel Frankenstein about a young scientist who creates a monster in an unorthodox scientific experiment.
