TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 24-09-2025:-

NH-44 (NHW)

Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) has NOT been fully restored at Tharad, Udhampur.

There was very slow movement observed on NH-44 due to single lane traffic, undulating & uneven surface of the road at Tharad, breakdown of 03 HMVs and movement of 05 nomadic flocks on NH-44.

Traffic managed on regulated manner at Tharad, Udhampur on NH-44 due to single lane about 250-300 Mtrs.

Commuters are advised to follow lane discipline; overtaking, wrong lane driving will cause congestion . Avoid travel on NH-44, in view of heavy movement of nomadic herds, if not necessary.
