Alcohol believed to be factor in crash that closed I

FLINT, MI – A crash involving a semi truck shut down I-75 from northbound I-475 to West Bristol Road in Flint Township for several hours Monday morning.

Both involved drivers were treated for minor injuries. Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, Flint Township Lt. Matt VanLente said.

The roads were closed for several hours from about 11:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 22. Both directions reopened Monday morning.

The crash occurred between Bristol Road and Maple Avenue.
