CENTERVILLE, Ga. — A robbery suspect is on the run in Centerville Tuesday afternoon, prompting a large police search, according to the Centerville Police Department.

They say the search is happening in the area of Collins Drive and Wilson Drive. That's an area near Houston Lake Road.

The department said in a Facebook post that they are searching for a robbery suspect.

The Centerville Police asks people to stay inside and lock and secure their doors.

Some viewers report that a helicopter has gotten involved in the search.
