Patna is set to host a high-profile Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting on September 24, with party president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi expected to attend. Kharge is scheduled to arrive this evening around 6 pm, accompanied by other senior leaders, while Rahul and Sonia will reach the city tomorrow morning at 8:30 am.

The extended CWC meeting will be held at the historic Sadaqat Ashram at 10 am and comes in the wake of Gandhi’s 1,300-km ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ across Bihar. Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states and all other CWC members have also been invited.
