(The Center Square) – A land transfer proposal for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library is to be considered next week when Florida’s Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund convenes.
Second-term Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis said he favors conveying a 2.63-acre parcel in Miami-Dade County adjacent to the Freedom Tower. The land is an employee parking lot for the Wolfson Campus of Miami-Dade College in Miami.
Florida could become the 11th state to house a 14th presidential library. Texas has three, California two, and eight states each have one.
"President Trump has achieved results for the American people and made a lasting impact on our nation’s history," DeSantis said. "No state has better delivered the president’s agenda than the free state of Florida, and we woul
