French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday said that US President Donald Trump could only be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize if he successfully stops the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians over Gaza, news agency AFP reported. Speaking to BFMTV from the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Macron stated, “Trump wants the Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel Peace Prize is only possible if you stop this conflict.” Trump, in his first speech since returning to the Oval Office, claimed that he had ended seven wars in seven months, including conflicts involving India and Pakistan.
