In the wealthy, master-planned Houston suburb of The Woodlands—capitalized definite article insisted upon by city promoters—the hottest ticket this past weekend was the Texas Youth Summit, a two-day convocation of right-wing politicians, pundits, and pastors. Founded in 2019 by conservative activist Christian Collins, the annual conference is dedicated to “educating high school and college-age youth with Judeo-Christian and Conservative values.”
