As the off-season for some theme parks across the country approaches, some are closing for good, while others are gearing up for one last dance.

Here is a list of some of the major theme parks that have announced closures in the near future.

Six Flags, the iconic American amusement park chain with 42 parks around the U.S., Mexico and Canada, has announced the closing of two of its locations: Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor in Bowie, Maryland.

Both locations will remain open until Sunday, Nov. 2.

“As part of our comprehensive review of our park portfolio, we have determined that Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor are not a strategic fit with the company’s long-term growth plan,” Six Flags president and CEO Richard A. Zimmerman said in a statement .
