President Trump on Tuesday claimed climate change was “the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world” as he used his speech to the United Nations to bash efforts to reduce carbon emissions and move toward clean energy.
“It’s the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world in my opinion. Climate change, no matter what happens you’re involved in that,” Trump said at the U.N. General Assembly in New York City.
"All of these predictions made by the United Nations and many others, often for bad reasons, were wrong," Trump continued. "They were made by stupid people that have cost their countries fortunes and given those same counties no chance for success."
