LONDON — Selfridges and Mugler are taking a trip back to the ‘80s and ‘90s with a pop-up displaying the brand’s new capsule collection, Re/edit.
The display will take place until Oct. 12 and the collection will be available to shop at the department store which brings together 24 reimagined designs from 1985 to 2000.
The capsule collection spotlights the signatures that defined Mugler ’s aesthetic across two decades: precision tailoring, lingerie-inspired detailing and sculptural eveningwear that blurred the lines between couture and ready-to-wear.
Shoppers can also visit a special installation of Manfred Thierry Mugler’s original archive pieces, which directly inspired the new collection.
