Sheetz opened its first doors in Macomb County at 29050 23 Mile Road in New Baltimore on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

The new location is the third of 50-60 locations Sheetz hopes to open in southeast Michigan.

Metro Detroiters have mixed feelings about Sheetz coming to their communities with some enthusiastically lined up on opening days and others commenting in opposition at zoning meetings.

The 24-hour gas station and convenience store chain with all kinds of food and drink options has officially arrived in Macomb County.

Sheetz, a family-owned brand based out of Pennsylvania , opened its third metro Detroit and Michigan location at 29050 23 Mile Road in New Baltimore on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
