MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - The Mesa County Coroner's Office announced its findings in the death of a motorcycle rider who passed away early Sunday morning.

The rider was Clifton man Angell Quintero, 26. He was driving his motorcycle near 33 Road and E 1/4 Road when he went off the roadway and crashed near a home, according to the coroner's office. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and he was wearing a helmet during the incident.

The autopsy showed his cause of death was related to injuries from the crash, according to the coroner's office.

Colorado State Patrol is overseeing the investigation.
