Graham Norton shares 'embarrassing' encounter with huge US star

Graham Norton has confessed he felt "mortified" following an uncomfortable encounter with an American actress he'd collaborated with on numerous occasions.

The talk show presenter recounted the incident on The One Show on Tuesday (23 September), telling presenters Roman Kemp and Lauren Laverne how he'd failed to recognise the star, leaving her distinctly unimpressed.

"This is a terrible story," he informed the hosts. "So, basically, I went to a musical, and Juliet, and I was sitting there. The woman playing the nurse, I was thinking, 'She's very familiar, I'm sure I know her'.

"She was so familiar. I thought... Have I worked with you? Am I in something with you? I can't think, I can't think!" View 2 Images READ M
