Fans can get their first look at “ Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu ” with the release of the teaser trailer and poster for the highly anticipated new adventure. The film, directed by Jon Favreau, follows legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu on their most thrilling mission yet.

Set after the fall of the Empire, the story follows the scattered Imperial warlords and the fledgling New Republic as it works to protect the Rebellion’s legacy. The film also stars Sigourney Weaver and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with a score composed by Ludwig Göransson.

“Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” opens exclusively in theaters on May 22, 2026 .
