Lewis Capaldi was left in shock after a fan in the crowd at Utilita Arena in Birmingham disrupted his performance.

The Scottish star was in Birmingham tonight, Tuesday, September 23 for the first of a two-date run at Utilita Arena.

He was in the middle of performing 2019 hit Forever when a member of the crowd threw an 'unsavoury' item on stage.

A fan hurled a bundle at the star who unravelled it to reveal a t-shirt with an X-rated slogan and a sketch of a rudimentary phallic symbol. The pen scrawl read: "Show me your d*ck."

Lewis said: "Can you imagine if I got my c*** out on stage? I'd be locked up. I'll treasure that. Later, maybe..."
