The Writers Guild of America West has officially selected Michele Mulroney to succeed Meredith Stiehm as President.

Mulroney, the guild’s current Vice President, was the sole nominee for the top position. The WGA West says that, of the 2,567 valid ballots that were cast, 2,241 voted in favor of Mulroney.

Travis Donnelly, a current member of the board of directors, easily won his bid for Vice President, receiving 1,813 votes. Challenger Jeffrey Thompson received 444 votes. Peter Murrieta was elected secretary-treasurer with 1,649 votes to Van Robichaux’s 571.

In addition to the top positions, eight members were elected to the WGAW’s Board of Directors for two-year terms, including incumbents Adam Conover, Rob Forman, Molly Nussbaum and Maggie Levin. Others are Marguerite MacIntyre,
