While late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is returning to the air tonight for most people across the nation, those in Seattle will not be able to see Kimmel’s return.
Sinclair Broadcast Group announced that it will not be airing Jimmy Kimmel Live! on any of its 38 ABC affiliates, including Seattle’s KOMO-TV. Sinclair said, in a statement, that it will be preempting Jimmy Kimmel Live!, airing news programming instead.
“Discussions with ABC are ongoing as we evaluate the show’s potential return,” a Sinclair spokesperson told CNN .
