25-year-old charged for deadly skid steer accident

PERRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - A man is facing homicide charges after a deadly accident involving a skid steer.

According to a release from the Perry Township Police Department, 25-year-old Michael Kennedy is charged with reckless operation and reckless homicide.

On August 25, Kennedy was driving a skid steer that hit and killed Cole E. Parker on the 4300 block of Erie Avenue SW in Massillon.

Kennedy’s bond was set at $50,000. No word yet on when he will be back in court.
