CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — An East Valley teen is being honored on what would have been his 18th birthday, nearly two years after he died as a result of teen violence.
Tuesday marks the second annual Preston Lord Day in the City of Chandler, where Valley residents come together to remember the teen through a community event at The Stillery beginning at 5 p.m. Family-friendly activities will include a dunk tank, mini golf, cornhole and a raffle, as well as a DJ and dance lessons.
Chandler Police Chief Bryan Chapman, City Councilmember OD Harris and wellness speaker Katey McPherson will also be in attendance to discuss teen violence, according to Justice4PrestonLord.com .
