BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A new interim dean for the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center was announced Monday.

Caprice Roberts, the school's associate dean of faculty development and research, will be taking on the role. She has over two decades of legal experience, including federal judicial clerkships and government litigation. She serves as deputy executive director of the Southeastern Association of Law Schools (SEALS).

“Our greatest strength is the community’s collective commitment to the success of LSU Law and all its students,” Roberts said. “I am grateful and honored to serve during this important time for the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center.”

Roberts joined the law school's faculty in the fall of 2022.
