On Sunday, Nicco Marchiol came to Rich Rodriguez’s office. Marchiol told Rodriguez his foot had some mid-foot pain that was bothering him for a while now. Rodriguez wanted him to take care of it, so Marchiol went to his specialist in Colorado, who he saw on Tuesday.

“He’s going to be questionable as well,” Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez doesn’t know if he’ll be ready and back to play against Utah. Rodriguez meets with his trainer every morning with an injury report and that’ll decide whether or not he plays.

Marchiol’s started in all four games this season and had his ups and downs. He didn’t play too hot against Ohio and Kansas, but then led the Mountaineers to a comeback win in the Backyard Brawl over Pitt. He’s thrown for 720 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Despite being benc
