PAX, W.Va. — Governor Patrick Morrisey has announced that 12 individuals were apprehended over a two-day period by State Police, who are working in coordination with the United States Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The State Police Parkways Interdiction Team apprehended the 12 between Sunday and Monday during traffic stops on Interstate 77. According to a release from Morrisey’s office, the traffic stops were conducted near Pax in Fayette County.

Last month, Morrisey announced a Memorandum of Agreement with ICE consistent with President Trump’s executive order from January, which aims to protect the American people from invasion.
