LEOMINSTER, Mass. —

Video shows federal immigration agents surrounding a child outside a Massachusetts home while the family said agents were trying to draw her father outside. He was eventually arrested two days later.

Edwards Hips' family said he was taking his 5-year-old autistic daughter home from the hospital on Sept. 16 when he noticed he was being followed. The family said he pulled into the driveway and was able to get into the house, but alleges that federal agents tried to use the child as a bargaining chip to get him outside.

"If you touch her, we're going to have problems," he said in a video provided by the family.

"Come here so I can see those IDs," an agent responded.

Mejia's wife, who asked not to be identified, said agents were taunting him at the expense of a child.
