WASHINGTON D.C. (WTVO) — Tech giant Google admitted Tuesday it felt "pressed" by the Biden administration to censor content that the White House deemed "misinformation" about COVID-19, and said it would reinstate YouTube accounts that were previously banned.

The admission came from Google attorney Daniel Donovan while speaking to the House Judiciary Committee.

According to Donovan, President Joe Biden and his administration “created a political atmosphere that sought to influence the actions of platforms based on their concerns regarding misinformation.”
