SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A teenager from Shreveport is gaining recognition after competing on NBC's 'The Voice.'

Fourteen-year-old Max Chambers amazed the judges during the blind auditions of the show. He performed "I Want You Back," a hit song by The Jackson 5. After his performance, he had the opportunity to choose between two judges: Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé. Max decided to join Team Bublé and selected him as his coach.

This is a significant opportunity for Chambers, who is no stranger to the spotlight. In 2023, he won both Best in Show and the People’s Choice Award for his performance at the ArtBreak Got Talent Show in Shreveport. His rendition of "Who's Loving You" by the Jackson 5 earned him a $500 cash prize and an all-expenses-paid trip for a front-of-the-line auditio
