It seems like a passenger’s disappearance from a cruise ship was no accident, as authorities continue to look for the person that went missing in Bonaire.

Jessica Collins, 47, who was an American guest aboard the Carnival Horizon cruise ship, failed to return to the ship after its stop in the Caribbean island on Sept. 17, per a government news release .

“Local authorities are working with the Public Entity of Bonaire, the Port Authority, Tourism Corporation Bonaire, Carnival Cruise Line Security, the ship’s security chief, and other partners,” said the Dutch release, which was translated into English. “They are also in direct contact with Carnival Corporation and the U.S. authorities.”

Carnival Cruise told People the guest began her sail on Sept. 13 but never came back.
