WHITLEY COUNTY — At its regularly scheduled monthly meeting, the Whitley County Board of Education honored longtime district employee Bobby Blakley for his more than three decades of service.

Superintendent John Siler recognized Blakley, who is retiring at the end of September after nearly 32 years in education and administration, including 11 years as the district’s Director of Transportation.
