Former Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris returned to “The View” on Tuesday to address a question and answer that was largely blamed for crippling her 2024 campaign.

Less than a month before votes went to the polls, host Sunny Hostin asked Harris if there’s anything she would’ve done differently from President Biden, whom she served under as vice president from 2021 to 2025 .

Without perhaps realizing the extent to which voters wanted change, Harris fatefully replied there was “not a thing that comes to mind … and I’ve been a part of, of, of most of the decisions that have had impact.”

On Tuesday, Harris explained the tightrope she was walking when she gave that answer.
