SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A strong cold front will bring widespread storms late tonight into Wednesday followed by cooler and drier air.
As we head into tonight, storms will arrive along the I-30 corridor and some of these could be severe with hail and wind the primary concern. These storms will slowly push south, arriving along the I-20 corridor early Wednesday morning. By this time, the severe threat will be lower but damaging gusts still can’t be ruled out. The bigger concern will be heavy rainfall as the line of storms will slow down and take most of the day to push south through the rest of the ArkLaTex. Overall, 1-4” of rain can be expected and this could cause localized flooding in some areas.
Temperatures will turn much cooler behind the front with highs on Wednesday ranging from
