LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Think you have what it takes to become the next superstar? American Idol is looking for you.
The hit TV reality singing competition has added Sept. 29 as an additional virtual audition date for those aspiring singers in Kentucky.
Singers who are between the ages of 15 and 29 will have the opportunity to audition virtually in front of producers for their chance at stardom.
This is the sixth year American Idol has held “Idol Across America” – a virtual nationwide search for the next superstar. They’ve held auditions for all 50 states including Washington D.C. making the audition process easier.
American Idol is entering its 24th season and is set to air on ABC (WHAS11) and Hulu in 2026 with judges Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan set to return.
