PHILADELPHIA -- Dane Myers exited Tuesday night’s series opener against the Phillies with an apparent right leg injury.

Myers raced toward the right-field wall on Max Kepler’s fly ball to open the second inning and appeared to catch the lower part of his leg awkwardly on the chain-link fence.

Myers immediately went down, as manager Clayton McCullough, a member of both the Phillies' and Marlins' training staffs and center fielder Jakob Marsee went to check on him when play was halted. A visibly emotional Myers was eventually carried by five people, including two medical personnel, onto a cart that was brought out onto the warning track.

Javier Sanoja entered the game in left field, and Griffin Conine, who was reinstated from the 60-day injured list , moved from left to right.
