ROCKFORD — If you’re looking to get a taste of Italy without leaving the Stateline, Lino’s Ristorante on East State Street is inviting the community to its third annual Wine Tour of Italy.

Guests will have the chance to walk through and sip wines from 18 different regions in Italy, all while enjoying the atmosphere of Lino’s outdoor space. Local vendors will also be on site, featuring jewelry making, artisan breads, desserts, and live music.

With a ticket, attendees receive full access to all wine tables, along with lunch and dessert included.

Sommelier Jessica Cacciapaglia-Anderson says the event is about more than just tasting, it’s also about learning.

“We created these Italian passports, and each stop on the passport is a wine table, and it represents different regions in Italy.”
