GLENVILLE, W.Va. (WV News) — West Virginia University's new president, Michael Benson, sat down for a luncheon with Glenville State University President Dr. Mark Manchin as part of Benson's ongoing "Welcome Home Tour."
Members of both Manchin and Benson's staffs dinned in at the president's house before preceding with a tour of the campus.
Through the Welcome Home Tour, Benson aims to visit all 55 West Virginia counties before next summer.
“I’m going to meet as many people as I possibly can," Benson said. "I’d love to hear their stories, what’s their connection to the university."
After a bit of small talk and introductions the luncheon began with a three course spread of; a caprese salad appetizer, an entree of steak, creamy potatoes and seasoned broccoli, finished off with a tiramisu
