CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa football team was able to take care of Rutgers Friday improving to 1-0 in Big Ten play. The team got to spend Saturday watching some college football. You can bet they tuned into the Indiana versus Illinois game where they watched the Hoosiers dismantled the Fighting Illini winning 63-10.

“It’s hard to find a weakness, it really is. I’m not saying it’s like playing Ohio State, but there’s a some similarities in my mind,” Iowa football head coach Kirk Ferentz said.

“I’m not gonna lie. You know, you try to watch a game casually every once in a while, but it’s just second nature to start looking at it as we would in the film room. You start to look at it that way and you can’t really stop,” senior linebacker Jaxon Rexroth said.
