SCHENECTADY — Schenectady is seeking members for a new housing task force, but interested applicants will have to act fast.

With the city facing a self-imposed deadline for the task force to hold its first meeting by Oct. 5, the city released a public application for the eight spots on the committee Monday, with a Thursday deadline for interested applicants to complete and submit the form.
