EAGAN, Minnesota — When it comes to the Minnesota Aurora FC , there's a lot to cheer about.
In the regular season, the team remains undefeated. It's the only community-owned independent women's soccer team in the country, with more than 5,000 owners across the world.
And now they're kicking it up a level.
"Startups are hard and we've definitely had some bumps along the way but we are so excited about 2026 and the future," said Andrea Yoch, co-founder and board member for the Aurora.
The team is heading into its fifth season next spring with new investors.
On Monday, Aurora announced Minnesota Lynx President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Cheryl Reeve and President of Business Operations Carley Knox as investors of the club.
