YOUNGSTOWN A Youngstown man who was found asleep at the wheel with a loaded gun last year has learned his fate.
Forty-nine-year-old Jermaine Bunn was sentenced to 12-and-a-half years in prison, followed by three years of parole, after a federal judge found him guilty in May of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Bunn was previously convicted of assault in 1997, as well as two possession of cocaine convictions in 2010 and 2021. Bunn is prohibited from owning a firearm due to these convictions.
Bunn's latest charge stems from an incident in October of 2024 when Youngstown police officers responded to a call about a man passed out in a vehicle.
