MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin men's hockey team will head across the pond in 2027.
The Badgers will take part in the Friendship Four tournament in Belfast, Northern Ireland from Nov. 26-27, 2027 alongside North Dakota, Quinnipiac and Northeastern.
"We're really excited about having an opportunity as a university to provide our athletes with a forever experience," head coach Mike Hastings said.
SSE Arena will play host to the four-game tournament. It will be the first regular-season Badger hockey games played outside the U.S. in the team's modern era. The Badgers took on Michigan in Windsor, Ontario in 1927 in what was the first American college hockey game played outside the U.S.
