Canada health care: P.E.I. tops country for ER walkouts

The Montreal Economic Institute’s data, gathered through access-to-information requests, show that nearly 1.27 million patients across Canada left emergency rooms untreated in 2024. That’s about 7.8 per cent of all ER visits.
