Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Tuesday (september 23, 2025) said that potholes exist even on the road leading to the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi, but the issue is being exaggerated in Karnataka.

Speaking to reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence, Mr. Shivakumar said, “I travelled across Delhi just a day ago. The media should review and report on how many potholes exist on Delhi’s roads, including the road to the PM’s residence.”

“Potholes are a problem across the country. Only Karnataka’s situation is being blown out of proportion. I want to assure everyone, including major businesses in Bengaluru, that we are working to fill the potholes,” he added.
