City leaders in Andalusia say their hospital has resumed operations after a lockdown.
The city released a statement saying Andalusia Health was on temporary lockdown earlier this evening after the Andalusia Police Department received a report of someone having a gun in the hospital.
Capt. Brett Holmes said the police department received the call at about 6:30PM.
“The hospital followed protocol, and basically went on lockdown,” he said.
Police conducted an investigation and determined there was no weapon in the facility.
They did determine that there had been a disagreement between two people in the hospital parking lot. A third person, who was not involved in the altercation, told officers that one of the two people in the disagreement threatened that he had a gun.
